Senior Photos at Ponce Inlet Beach – Mia’s Session
Mia’s senior photo session took place at one of my favorite local spots, Ponce Inlet. The beach, the boardwalks, and the lighthouse in the distance give so many options for portraits that feel unique and true to Florida.
When Mia showed up, we were keeping an eye on the weather. It looked like rain could sneak in, but we decided to take the chance and head out anyway. The clouds actually worked in our favor, giving us soft, moody skies and beautiful light that made every photo feel cinematic.
We started on the boardwalks surrounded by sea oats, then moved down to the shoreline for some classic beach portraits. Mia’s flowy dresses worked perfectly in the wind, and even when the water crept up on us, she just laughed and leaned into it. Toward the end, the sunset lit up the sky with purples and oranges, giving us the perfect finishing touch to her gallery.
What I loved most about this shoot was how natural it felt. Senior portraits don’t have to be stiff or overly posed. Mia brought her personality into the session and let the environment do the rest. From soft smiles in the dunes to candid shots in the waves, every photo reflected who she is at this moment in her life.
